About

Our school is situated in the heart of Singleton, Ashford, Kent.

Ashford is a growth town, partly due to its easy access to Europe via the Channel Tunnel and the International Station. Whilst some children come from the village of Great Chart, most live in Singleton. The school is two-form entry consisting of 14 classes and is presently oversubscribed.

Our pupils are very happy, feel safe and healthy, and achieve exceptionally well. Parents appreciate the outstanding care, guidance and exceptional support pupils receive including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. It is not just academic standards that are high. Pupil’s personal development is as outstanding as their academic progress. Their good and sometimes outstanding behaviour as well as above-average attendance reflects their desire to learn at school. Great Chart Primary School is a very welcoming and happy school to be part of.
