Safer Parking Campaign

Great Chart Primary School children have been working with the Parish and Borough Council to ensure that parents and visitors park safely and sensibly outside their school. Joanna Watts, the Community Warden for Singleton, spoke to the children and introduced them to Moreline, the Safer Parking Hedgehog. She also launched a poster competition which was judged by Cllr Bill Barrett. Cllr Barrett has been instrumental in improving the safety outside of the school. The Mayor of Ashford came to speak to the children and announced the winners of the poster competition: William, Harvey, Eevee, Mya, Linett and Chloe.

“This has been a huge community effort to ensure the safety of the children. Thank you to all those involved.”
