Natural History Museum Visit

Roarrrrr!!!!!!  To start our exciting topic on dinosaurs , we had a visit from the Natural History Museum from London. Year one got the chance to meet and ride on some of their favourite dinosaurs.  Dino girl brought the history of dinosaurs to life.  The children became Palaeontologist and dug for bones, they made their own fossils and even held a Diplodocus tooth which was over 65 million years old.   The children had the most amazing time holding a fossilised egg shell and they even got to hold fossilised Dinosaur poo.  It was a great way to start our topic.
