Great Chart Primary School  V Sandgate Primary School

Y5 & 6 children went head to head in two competitions: Spelling Bee held at Great Chart and Maths held at Sandgate. Both competitions were very tense and show-cased some amazing abilities in spelling and maths.

Well done to both schools and their amazing teams.

The results were as follows: Sangdate Primary School was an overall winner for Spelling Bee and Maths competitions.

3 Toke Inspire: The Road to Rio

3 Toke represented Great Chart Primary pupils in a celebration of different cultures at the “Inspire: The Road to Rio” carnival held at Highworth Grammar School. Chris Cook, an Olympian swimmer, spoke to the children and then schools performed for the audience. 3T performed a Chinese ribbon dance beautifully and joined other primary schools in a range of workshop activities. Well done to 3 Toke.

Y3 & 4 Spelling Bee Final

Well done to everyone who took part in the Y3 & 4 Spelling Bee competition we have been running. A special congratulations to all our finalists who took part in a very tense head to head competition:
