Year 3 Trip

Year 3 went on their school trip to the Canterbury Roman Museum this week.  It was an fun filled day in which children attended three roman workshops; a bread making workshop, a coin making workshop and catapult workshop.  All of the children learnt about the roman traditions of days gone by and they had lots of fun discovering the use of the items.  Following this, they visited a museum which featured everyday roman artifacts and they even saw the remains of an original roman corridor which led to the baths, that was excavated in the 1980’s.  Finally, the children became archaeologists and discovered the use of other artifacts.  They all thoroughly enjoyed their day out and we would like to say a big thank you to our helpers.Click here to see the photos
