The children were very lucky to take part in a Roman Living Workshop. They became Romans for the day and took part in a variety of activities from gladiator fighting, food tasting, looking at roman artefacts, trying on roman soldier body armour and watching a pantomime (performed by the children). They also made necklaces which they decorated themselves with pictures, their roman names and the roman date. The children were very lucky and we would like to thank The Living History company for an excellent day.
