Important Dates for parents to note

If you applied online you will receive an email from KCC Admissions on 18th April 2017 after 4pm to tell you which school you have been offered. Admissions cannot guarantee the exact time you will receive your email, this depends on your email service provider. You can also log in after 5pm on 18th April 2017 to view your offer online. If you applied by post, Admissions will send your offer by first class post on 18th April 2017.
You will then need to inform the school in writing as to whether you will accept the place or not. This needs to be done between 18th April and 15th May. At this point you will also need to come to school with proof of address as to the only or main residence of your child. This will need to be in the form of each of these documents:
One of the following –
Council Tax statement
Signed Tenancy Agreement or Exchange of Contracts/Completion document
Along with two or more of the below –
Child/Working Tax Credit/Child Benefit/JSA/Disability Benefit Letter or Statement
Schedule of Motor Insurance
Utility bills such as Gas/Water/Electric/Sky/Virgin Media/BT/Broadband etc
Hospital or Doctor appointment letter
These documents should not be more than three months old and preferably should show that the child was resident at the address at the time of the closing date.
We need to see ALL THREE of these documents for EVERY child being admitted (even those who have siblings at school already). If you are unable to provide the above documents, to prove your child’s only or main residence, the Local Authority has the right to take your child’s place away.
